 HEATHFIELD YOUTH DRAMA

We have been running since 1993 and put on our first production

of the Snow Queen in 1994.

Every year since we have put on an end of year production using the entire club, from our youngest juniors aged 5 to our eldest seniors of 18 years.

Throughout the year we participate in competitions and festivals such as The East Gristead Festival and the All England One Act Play Festival.

Our students have the opportunity to take Drama and Musical Theatre exams throughout the year as they work their way up through the grades.

The marks they achieve can be used towards UCAS points.

,

We very much support and encourage students to participate in auditions and have had past students in The Sound of Music in London and in

TV programmes such as The Bill and CBeebies.

Heathfield Youth Drama is open to anyone, no matter their talent or ability.

We not only pride ourselves in developing the young talent, we also encourage self-reliance and the building of confidence.

Aladdin is suitable for all ages and will be performed outside in the grounds at the back of the Community Centre.

Please bring your own seating, chairs or rugs.

We will be selling refreshments, wine, beer, tea, coffee, soft drinks, and Ice Cream before the performance so why not bring a picnic
