SINGING & MUSICAL THEATRE

Singing can be a hugely rewarding experience for students of all ages. Our choirs work to develop choral skills in fun and effective ways, and all students take part in group singing. As the students progress they learn to sing together in harmony. Those who wish can take their singing to a level where they can perform solos or duets to a high standard in Musical Theatre Classes in Festivals and for Exams.

Every year we stage a Musical/Pantomime, something the students thoroughly enjoy. It is an opportunity to engage every student in the performance, whether it be as a soloist or in the chorus.

This year we performed Pinafore Pirates.

Although this is our main annual production, we put on a number of other shows during the course of the year. See Productions & Filming menu for more details.

YOUTH CHOIR

Youth Choir is open to all – to audition, students DO NOT have to be members of Drama Club.

Rehearsals take place on Friday nights from 6.45-7.45 at the Community Centre in Heathfield If you would like to audition or require further information please email Mary Pearson.

The Youth Choir sings at festivals and Club's open evenings and is always willing to sing at other venues if asked.
