FILM CLUB

We give opportunities for students to take part in all aspects of film making, film production, script writing and acting, with their own premiere on release of the film.

Last year, our film was 'This is My Story' written by Harriet Paul, directed by Vikki Gaffney, Harriet Paul and Oliver Rowlatt, and involving 32 members of the club.

Pictures of the 2009 premiere can be seen in the Gallery.

Students have also made short educational films for Cambridge University Press and Sound Architect.

FILM CLUB 2010:
34 students are working on this year's film, Long Long a Ghost.

FILM CLUB PREMIERE 2010:
The premiere of Long Long a Ghost will be held on Sunday 20th June at 6pm at Heathfield Community Centre. Tickets cost £7.50.

Film Club update 12/5/2010

Our filming weekend went well and we are waiting to see the finished film, which was written, acted, produced and filmed by members of the Club. Long Long a Ghost is the story of a group of children who go back in time to 1605 to put history on the right course when it goes wrong.

Film Club update 7/2/2010

Today we had our first very constructive meeting of FILM CLUB. Our production/film crew are Victoria Gaffney, Gen Hinde, Poppy Damazer, Victoria Hurel, Dominic Mack. They are now in the process of trying to put together the abundance of ideas and story lines to make a script and find locations. They will be assisted in script writing by Alice Bull and Eliza Dunhill.
